We’re thrilled to introduce the new and improved Three Brothers Painting! Just like paint can breathe new life into a space, we decided it was time for us to do the same–and that’s exactly what we’ve done!
We worked with a branding strategist to help us complete our transformation, which included a full refresh of our logo, colors, fonts, and objectives for the clients with whom we want most to connect with and serve.
Our new goal: To provide quality interior and exterior painting, repair, and protection and become your painters for life.
What Prompted Our Rebrand?
2021 marked an important milestone for us–we celebrated thirty years of providing painting services to homeowners and businesses in North Metro Atlanta!
Our Founder, Carlos Velez, began in 1991 with humble beginnings. As an immigrant from Mexico City, Carlos was eager to start a business in this country. After working with another painting company for a while, Carlos set out on his own with the help of his two brothers, Raul and Robert Velez. Both brothers have been with Three Brothers Painting since its inception, and have grown to be an important part of the business working as crew leads and estimators for our projects.
Carlos’ son Oscar and daughter Cindy have also played important roles in the family business since they were young. Many may not know this, but Oscar started on the painting crews in his early teens, cleaning job sites, learning the basics of painting, and interacting with the customers. Cindy has worked at the office since she was 18, starting with filing and learning the entire back end of the business, including scheduling, payroll and bookkeeping. For the last decade, Oscar has been in charge of sales, business development and project management and Cindy is in charge of managing the entire office.
The pair recognize the unique position of Three Brothers Painting in that our organization is not a franchise, and we never intend to be. Next year, Oscar and Cindy will take ownership and impart on a new journey and generation of ownership–and entrepreneurship–in the heart of Cherokee County.
Who Did We Collaborate With?
We were thrilled to partner with local branding strategist Cassie Hanuscak of Caslyn Branding & Design for this project. Cassie listened closely to our history and created a story that incorporates our strengths and values as a business. She asked the right questions to help us gain clarity and consistency with our new brand. She was incredibly talented in bringing imagery and words together to set our brand apart, something we recognized that, after thirty years of being in business and with our leadership change, was time to revisit and relaunch.
That said, we had so much time and energy invested into our previous brand, and many clients have come to know and recognize it over the years. We were a little intimidated by the process of redoing everything we’ve worked hard to built so far. Thankfully, she guided us through every step of the process, making suggestions along the way. We’re proud of our new brand and what it represents to the community in which we serve.
What Happens Next?
As we look to the future, our story weaves into the city of Woodstock and the surrounding North Atlanta communities.
Partnerships with our local leaders have allowed our crews to complete projects in downtown Woodstock, including the Visitors Center, Made Mercantile, and Chambers at City Center. Being able to see our work as we walk up and down Main Street instills a great sense of pride for our leadership team and our crews. (In fact, it’s highly probable that you’ll see Oscar and his family out and about in Downtown Woodstock–they’re big fans of the concerts, art exhibits, and other happenings in the city.)
We’re also proud to share our ongoing commitment to Woodstock and Cherokee County through participation and leadership in IN WDSTK, Woodstock Arts, Young Professionals IN WDSTK, and others. As our company continues to grow, we look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide amazing experiences for our clients and create more partnerships that allow us to fulfill our goal of being our clients’ painters for life.
