Improve Your Closet With Paint

Jul 5, 2013

Closets are usually that space where you throw things that you don’t want to look at, or they are so dark and disorganized you can never find what you are looking for. What if you gave your closet a face lift and made it another space in your house that was not only functional, but beautiful too? Three Brothers Painting has some ideas on how to improve your closets with paintPaint Your Closet

If you’ve been eyeing that lime green paint for a while but you’ve been too afraid to use it, now is your chance! Closets are a great space to add a pop of color where you don’t have to look at it all the time. Don’t be afraid to go a little crazy here. Its just paint! It is cheap and easy, and if you hate it it is just as easy to pick a different color and paint it again.

Choose several colors of paint that you like and color coordinate you bathroom closet. On each shelf, paint the actual shelving and back wall a color to match color coordinating containers. This would be a great idea for a shared bathroom. Each family member can have their own color of paint with matching containers for all of their bathroom toiletries.

In your entryway, what better way to greet your guests taking off a coat or boots than with a fun message in your closet? On the inside of your closet door, paint it with chalk paint. This becomes a great space to either write your guests a welcome note, or make yourself a reminder of things to do or what you need at the grocery store that day.

Closets don’t have to just be for skeletons. They can be beautiful, functional spaces in your home. With just a little bit of paint and some organizational skills, your closet could become your new favorite room in your house!

Looking to paint more than just the closet in your home? Instead, are you thinking of a complete fresh coat of paint for your whole interior? Call Three Brothers Painting of Ball Ground, GA and we will be happy to come give you a quote!
