Our Story
In 1991, our founder Carlos Velez, born and raised in Mexico City, came to the United States with a vision: build a business that combined skilled craftsmanship with honest, dependable service.
Carlos and his two brothers originally worked for another painting company, but his leadership and reputation for exceptional quality quickly stood out. A construction foreman eventually approached Carlos directly — offering him the opportunity to take on work independently. That moment became the start of Three Brothers Painting, Inc.
As the business grew, Carlos brought his eldest son Oscar and daughter Cindy into the family business. Oscar, who learned the trade by working with the painting crews, cleaning job sites, learning the basics of painting, and interacting with customers, and Cindy, who started with filing and learning the entire back end of the business, including scheduling, payroll, and bookkeeping, now play integral roles in the company.
Our growth, which has allowed us to triple in size since our start in the early 90’s, and our service to an estimated 30,000+ customers, is a testament to our experience and reliability.
Over the past three decades, we’ve grown to serve more than 30,000 homeowners and have tripled in size since our early beginnings. Our growth isn’t the result of advertising gimmicks — it’s the product of consistent reliability, referral after referral, and the trust we’ve earned in the communities we serve.
For the last 20 years, we’ve proudly operated from our brick-and-mortar office inside Woodstock city limits, a stable home base for a company built on stability and service.

Founder
As the founder of Three Brothers Painting, Carlos built a company focused on high-quality service and to assure customers are 100% satisfied.
Oscar Velez
Chief Executive Officer
After you schedule an estimate, Oscar will come meet with you and answer questions about your project. Oscar has almost 20 years of experience completing estimates at people’s homes, and over 25 years of experience in the painting industry. During his visit, he (or one of our other estimators) will give you a detailed, no-pressure estimate while answering all of your questions. If you think of a question after your appointment, he is always available via phone or email.
Cindy Velez
Chief Financial Officer
Cindy brings 20+ years to our backend office operations. She oversees our day-to-day backend operations, including bookkeeping, tracking and scheduling jobs, communicating with our crews, and ensuring that our workers offer only the best when it comes to customer service.
Ashley Velez
Operations, Marketing & PR Manager
Since 2011, Ashley has led initiatives that have strengthened brand awareness, expanded customer reach, and driven sustainable growth.
Through a strategic blend of digital marketing, public relations, and customer engagement, she positions the company as a trusted leader in the industry, connecting with customers in meaningful ways.
Roberto Velez
Estimator & Team Lead
Roberto also provides our detailed, no-pressure estimates and can answer all of your painting questions. Additionally, he is in charge of ensuring that the contracted service is efficiently and safely performed and the proper materials are utilized. Roberto has over twenty years of experience in the painting industry.

Team Lead
Raul ensures that the contracted service is efficiently and safely performed and the proper materials are utilized. Raul has over twenty years of experience in the painting industry.
Mariela Jaimes
Administrative Assistant
Mariela is an integral part of our office-based customer support team, collaborating with Cindy in day-to-day customer service operations and maintaining ongoing support for our crews.
