Our Story
In 1991, our founder Carlos Velez, born and raised in Mexico City, came to the United States with a vision: build a business that combined skilled craftsmanship with honest, dependable service.
Carlos and his two brothers originally worked for another painting company, but his leadership and reputation for exceptional quality quickly stood out. A construction foreman eventually approached Carlos directly — offering him the opportunity to take on work independently. That moment became the start of Three Brothers Painting, Inc.
As the business grew, Carlos brought his eldest son Oscar and daughter Cindy into the family business. Oscar, who learned the trade by working with the painting crews, cleaning job sites, learning the basics of painting, and interacting with customers, and Cindy, who started with filing and learning the entire back end of the business, including scheduling, payroll, and bookkeeping, now play integral roles in the company.
Our growth, which has allowed us to triple in size since our start in the early 90’s, and our service to an estimated 30,000+ customers, is a testament to our experience and reliability.
Over the past three decades, we’ve grown to serve more than 30,000 homeowners and have tripled in size since our early beginnings. Our growth isn’t the result of advertising gimmicks — it’s the product of consistent reliability, referral after referral, and the trust we’ve earned in the communities we serve.
For the last 20 years, we’ve proudly operated from our brick-and-mortar office inside Woodstock city limits, a stable home base for a company built on stability and service.

Founder
As the founder of Three Brothers Painting in 1991, Carlos built a company focused on high-quality service and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied.
Oscar Velez
Chief Executive Officer; Business Development Lead
As CEO of Three Brothers Painting, Oscar leads business development, manages operations, and helps guide every aspect of the company’s growth and customer experience.
With more than 25 years in the painting industry and over 20 years of experience preparing in-home estimates, he brings deep expertise and a personal commitment to every project. Whether he is meeting with customers directly or supporting the team behind the scenes, Oscar is dedicated to making sure each client receives a detailed, no-pressure estimate and clear answers to every question. Even after the appointment, he remains available by phone or email to provide ongoing support.
Cindy Velez
Office Manager
Cindy brings 20+ years to our backend office operations. She oversees our day-to-day backend operations, including bookkeeping, tracking and scheduling jobs, communicating with our crews, and ensuring that our workers offer only the best when it comes to customer service.
Ashley Velez
Operations, Marketing & PR Manager
Since 2011, Ashley has played a key role in helping Three Brothers Painting grow its presence, connect with customers, and build a strong reputation in the community.
Through digital marketing, public relations, and customer engagement, she helps share the company’s story, strengthen trust, and keep Three Brothers Painting top of mind for homeowners and businesses alike.
Roberto Velez
Estimator & Team Lead
Roberto also provides our detailed, no-pressure estimates and can answer all of your painting questions. Additionally, he is responsible for ensuring that the contracted service is performed efficiently and safely, and that the proper materials are used.
